Nothing goes as planned

That's right go ahead make plans, do you think it's going to go off without a hitch if you have kids and health issues... yeah right! I've been off work this week, I made plans to do this and that each day,  between the kids and health problems nothing is going according to the original  plans.  I made plans  for tomorrow morning, set my alarm, and laid down. Within an hour I heard a crash and one of the kids hollering for help. Granted this wasn't the kids fault but it's just always something happening. This time it was the bunk bed, the top bunk merged with the bottom bunk. My poor little girl has a goose egg on her head and a few bruises. We are following all of the guidelines for goose eggs on the head to make sure she is okay. Which means staying up for awhile and talking  to her asking her questions, putting ice on it, and making sure she is not weak and so on. Since its bed time we will have to wake up every couple hours to check on her. Our other baby girl is so upset that her bed fell and hurt Grace that she is scared to go to sleep. We've taken the bed and put it o  the floor. We will probably  be changing the bunk beds to twin beds since they are so upset. I hate for them to be traumatized. We keep telling them accidents happen. That it wasn't anyone's fault.
The other days I had made plans our boy came down with  a stomach issue and was overly tired, I had pulled muscle and couldn't do what I planned and my stomach  problems  have been flared up.
Be prepared to change plans at a moments notice. I love my crazy life it keeps me on my toes.

My Cat

Mama Bear is 9 as far as we know. She is close to that senior citizen mark (see chart). Does she get any discounts for being a senior citizen? Do you give your pets nick names? I call her Bear Bear when I try to get her to come over and see me. She is pretty cantankerous  at her age. She gets ticked off rather easy. Don't pick her up whatever you do she won't forgive you for days. When we are gone for vacation or what have you she gets upset and verbally berates us for at least 20 minutes. She will sit on your lap if you are covered with a blanket but don't pet her too much or she will leave. She only plays when I come up to bed, she gets on the other side of the bed and likes to play around grabbing my hand and kicking my hand. I flip the blankets around and she gets all excited and then runs away. Only to come back and lay at the opposite end  of  the  bed, and I reach my arm out and tell her I can't reach her and she wriggles  around like a worm and rolls over back and forth until she is finally up to the point where I can reach her and give her a pat on the side. Any who just a few of my musings of my silly girl

18 years

Celebrating  18 years of marriage on July 22. Through good times and bad, sickness and health we've made it this far. There is a sweet poem by Robert Browning... Grow old along with me the best is yet to be
I try to do something special each year, one year I did the theme The Princess Bride, last year I took the kids shopping to get presents for Chris and then we had a little party. I haven't even thought of anything for this year ... stay tuned to find out what I come up with

Squished Bug

Have you ever felt like a squished bug? Let that thought sit for a minute and let me know later.
Do you take time out once in awhile to study a little bug, trying to figure out what it is thinking? LOL I have, and sometimes I think of different  voices or scenarios for that little bug. Like there was a bug sitting on the  edge of the open car window, holding on for dear life I might add. Idk what kind of bug it was but tiny all the same. As we are driving I can imagine the bug  holding on with all it's might. I didn't think of a wee voice for him just imagining how much strength it was taking for him to hang on to the edge of that window. Whew we slowed down! It starts walking the edge of the window, and pauses  as we pick up more speed again. Trying to find his spot to hang on for dear life as we start going faster and faster.... Then a big gust of wind SWOOSH! picked him off and he fell off... Gone. When I was intently watching the little bug and the gust of wind grabbed him, it looked like a tornado wind picking up debris and carrying it off. I put my hand over my mouth with a gasp, and said oh no he's gone. Do you think he lived through this? Yeah probably  not. 😢
Okay sometimes I am a little silly like that, but think about yourself trying to make it through life everyday hanging on for dear life, like that little bug. Will you make it or will a gust of wind pick you off your feet and carry you away?
Keep a firm hold on your belief and faith in Jehovah.

Farmer Jane LOL

The weather has been so odd this year. It was cold and snowy most of April. We were afraid to do our planting for our garden until recently. We are getting a late start! We've had to plant in between rain and storms this month. Finally everything is in the ground, and sprouting up like crazy. Most years I have barely been able to help because of horrible allergies and asthma. The doctor has me on so much medicine this year I have  hardly had any trouble at all, minor trouble compared to being at ER or emergency  walk in getting shots and breathing treatments. This year I have been able to help  planting, and mowing grass! Amazing....
I can't wait to start finding actual food on our labor of love.
The neighbor dog comes down to visit  us every  time we are there. I have named her Daisy May, I think her real name is Rose. (Which doesn't fit her at all) We had old marshmallows  in the back of the truck that needed tossed out, she jumped up on the back of the truck grabbed the whole bag and was trying to run off with it. Deaira was chasing her down to get the bag away from her so she wouldn't  choke on plastic. I was laughing so hard at the site of this. LMBO
Deaira put the marshmallows out and Daisy May tried a couple  and decided the rest needed to be buried around the property. She took a mouthful down to the water spring and buried them  in the bank, then she took another mouthful and buried them right next to the potatoes in the garden.. what a silly dog! That must've been hard work because she drank some water then laid down in the shade and watched us while we were working  hard.
Last week when we left the property  we saw a snapping turtle close to the road. It would've been smashed if we hadn't done anything. So we stop and I jump out  stop the couple cars coming in the other lane and start trying to grab this thing! Most turtles you grab between their legs by the shell, well this wasn't working. The teens in the car I stopped were cracking up and hollered out grab it by its tail. (Now why didn't I think if this, we used to watch turtle man all the time) I gave them a thumbs up, then went in for the tail... woo-hoo that turtles mine now! As I took it back to the truck to put it in the bed they drove by and said good show. The next car said that was great entertainment  and asked if we were going to eat it...LOL  nope we have to save it and take it down to the river.
Glad I could be of such great entertainment to everyone! We put it down by the river and she was off, glad to get away from me. (Sorry no pictures or video of that)

Much Ado About Nothing...and yet Everything

There are many things I'm interested in doing and learning, there is only so much time in a day, a year, in life.  Psalms 37:29 How does forever sound? Amazing! The infinite possibilities to learn everything that you ever wanted to know, or are curious about.
What's on you list you might ask. I want to study every animal, insect, living creature created. I want to know all of the earth. (I will walk 500 miles and I will walk 500 more) I want to study plants and grow all kinds of food.
I've always wanted to be a linguist. Maybe we won't need linguists one day, but all speak one language.
Mainly I want to have no worries, paying bills, going to work, etc... Isaiah 65:22
My writings will be filled with things that I find interesting. Things that bring me joy. I'm not going to focus on one subject. My mind loves to wander and drives me crazy at times with  all the thoughts that get jumbled up in there.
Strap in it's going to be a bumpy ride!
